ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON DR MICHAEL O'BRIEN NOW CONSULTING AT HARTWELL PHYSIO

We’re pleased to welcome Dr Michael O’Brien, Orthopaedic Surgeon from Victorian Bone & Joint Specialists, who is now consulting at Hartwell Physiotherapy in Camberwell on Wednesdays.

Dr O’Brien specialises in hip and knee surgery, providing assessment and advice for people experiencing joint pain, injuries and conditions that may require surgical management.

Dr O’Brien specialises in:

• Hip and knee replacements: Surgical management of advanced hip and knee joint conditions, including osteoarthritis.
• Knee ligament reconstruction: Surgical treatment of ligament injuries, including ACL injuries.
• Meniscal repairs: Assessment and surgical management of meniscal injuries.
• Knee arthroscopy: Keyhole surgery for selected knee conditions.

Having Dr O’Brien consulting at Hartwell Physiotherapy provides our patients and the local community with convenient access to specialist orthopaedic assessment.

For patients already attending physiotherapy, this also provides an opportunity for communication between their physiotherapist and orthopaedic surgeon, helping to support coordinated care before or after surgery where appropriate.
