What is Hartwell Physio Run Club?
Are you someone who is interested in running however doesn’t know where to start or has had injuries stop them before? Or are you a seasoned runner who can’t progress to the next level because of injuries and wanting to improve? If this is the case then we can help!
The Hartwell Run Club is a community of people from those who have never run before, to athletes who are seasoned runners. Simply join the Strava group and receive a FREE 2XU running t-shirt! There will be weekly posts with running tips and injury blogs in the lead up to the Melbourne Marathon Festival in October.
How to join

- Option to join the Hartwell Run Club group when registering for the Nike Melbourne Marathon Festival (42km, 21km, 10km or 5km).
How can we help you improve your running?
- Running assessment: using video analysis on a treadmill to determine the root of potential injuries and improve running efficiency through a range of interventions
- Gait scan: biomechanical scanning of the feet in standing and walking to assist in footwear and/or orthotic prescription to reduce lower limb overload
- Injury Assessment: a full subjective and objective examination with diagnosis, followed by specific treatment to reduce symptoms and improve performance
- Massage: 20, 40 or 60 minute sessions to relieve tension in tight muscles
