Hartwell Physiotherapy is an independent physiotherapy clinic located at 1/1150 Toorak Road, Camberwell. We have been providing physiotherapy to the local community since 2007.

Our team of experienced physiotherapists help people of all ages manage pain and injury, recover from surgery, return to sport and stay active. We take the time to understand what is causing your problem and develop a treatment and rehabilitation plan based on your individual goals.

Our Camberwell clinic has private treatment rooms, a spacious rehabilitation gym and a dedicated Clinical Pilates studio, allowing us to support you from your initial assessment, to hands-on treatment through to exercise-based rehabilitation.

What do Physios do?

A physio’s expertise lies in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. Your Physio, at our Melbourne physio clinic, will complete a thorough physical examination to determine the cause of your issue and the optimal plan for your recovery. Treatment might involve hands-on therapy, dry needling, advice, home exercise and group exercise where appropriate. If you need an x-ray or scan your Physio can arrange a referral for this.

What conditions do Physio at Hartwell Physiotherapy in Camberwell treat?

What do I wear to my appointment?

Wear something that is comfortable and easy to move in.

How long will my appointment take?

We will allow 40 minutes for your first appointment. Review appointments are typically 20 minutes lone.

Can I claim using my Private Health insurance?

Yes, if you have Physio extras your Private Health Insurance rebate can be claimed on the spot. Your rebate amount varies depending on your fund and level of cover.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No, you can attend a Physio without a referral.

Can I use my Medicare Care plan?
